Woke up this morning, well, Bruce woke up. I never did fall asleep. It rained all night and I was sure we were going to float away. Stopped by the Mills' rig (Elaine was busy making sliders) to pick up our egg, cheese and turkey sausage sliders and then next door to the Wood's rig to socialize while we ate. By 9:30 we were off to the Walkersville Southern Railroad for a steam engine train ride. This was the Jessie James Express.
All Aboard! Here we are with some of the other Capital Chapter members.
What a fun trip. We love old trains, and this was no exception. The rain actually lightened up for awhile. There were many pistol packing and rifle carrying cowboys on this trip.
With all the rain we crossed some angry streams.
Before we knew it, Jessie James and his gang were demanding our "money or your life".
Before long the law arrived and a shootout ensued.
The good guys prevailed. Yeah good guys.
What a good time we all had. Later that night we again gathered at the Wood's rig to celebrate three May birthdays and an anniversary with cake and ice cream. We said our goodbyes with hopes of making another rally soon.
