This day is starting out lovely. The sun is shining and there is no rain in sight. We decide to do a dry run to find this Eriez Speedway. It was not hard. About 35 minutes in the other direction and we were there. Looking good for a night at the races.
We got there about 6:00. Racing begins at 6:30. Beautiful night, cheap beer, life is good.

Just like Stateline, it was try number five to get the season opened. There were many, many impatient drivers who wanted to race. Consequently, that meant many heats before the feature races. Thought were really enjoyed the evening, it was a very long one. We finally got back to the rig at 1:35. Wondering if we are too old for this stuff, . . . not. By the way #111 won his feature race.
