We are finally off on our longest RV trip. It should be 12 days shy of three months. Our first stop is only 24 miles from home. We are attending our first rally with the Capital Chapter of FMCA. Although we have been members for quite a number of years, it just has never worked out that we could attend a rally. This rally is being held at Ramblin' Pines, in Woodbine, MD.
We got off to a good start. Since this is our first trip this year, it will also be our shake down. The
weather leaves a lot to be desired. Rain, rain and more rain. We arrived in good time and as we were setting up we were greeted by one of our hosts, Elaine. Once we were established we went down to their coach and officially introduced ourselves. It was really nice to meet Rodger and Elaine face to face.
Because it was a long day with final packing, the short drive in the rain and setting up, we were quite tired and declined going out to dinner. A quick meal and rather early to bed for us.

So muddy..We added our rug just to keep from sinking. |
