Started out this morning with coffee then checked the trap. Empty. Something is eating the food we have been leaving, so we have moved the trap to under our coach. Went out to Big Lots to get a refund on an overcharge on an item we bought earlier. Stopped at Steak & Shake for a bite to eat and then to Walmart to buy ant traps. We keep having ants, and we can't find out where they are coming from. We have been expecting a storm and we were not disappointed. Heavy rain and hail. Fortunately, it did not last long.
Our new experience was a Member's Reception at the Lincoln Museum. They are opening to the public tomorrow an exhibit on WWII and interviews from Illinois participants.
There were 300 people in attendance. Some of those featured in the exhibit were there or family members were there to represent them. We had drinks, food, dessert, speeches, and then got to see the exhibit. This was another advantage of purchasing the membership yesterday. We very much enjoyed this event.
