Off to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and Tennessee

We got out in really good time.  5:11 am.  A rainy day, but had no problems getting to Beech Creek State Park in West Virginia.

The front yard of our campsite is a lake.  Nice Campground.

Took a ride around to get the lay of the land.  So much rain.  Found a country cemetery that is in the park.  Bowen Cemetery.  Very typical country cemetery.  There were so many flowers.  Of course it was Memorial Day last weekend.

Drove around to find some of the items from the Roadside America App.  Found a Pink Elephant, a Green and Pink Giraffe and a giant revolving Root Beer Mug.  Fortunately for us, the Rood Beer Mug was attached to a drive-in.  We each had really good root beer floats.

One thing about rain, it is easy to sleep by, as long as it isn't a storm, so a good night's sleep for us.
