Day of Travel

We had a really short trip today.  Only moving 66 miles to Barren River Lake Tailwater, our first COE (Corps of Engineers) campground. Since we didn't have to leave early, we packed up and went to a restaurant named Chalupa's for an early lunch.  Best Mexican food I ever had.

Must have been a pretty serious accident, because all lanes on 64 were closed for about 30 minutes. Glad we were not in a hurry.

This was a pretty and peaceful campsite along the Barren Lake River, just below the damn.  $20 a night, shady and roomy.  We just relaxed the rest of the day.
