We woke up early after a so-so night of sleep. By early I mean 5:00-5:30 am. My backache was tolerable, but poor Bruce could not even stand. After many attempts, a bit of massaging, and a boatload of determination, he finally made it to his feet. Many unspoken fears were going thru both our heads.
Once he got to his feet he could walk a bit. This seemed to be a good thing. After some coffee and much pacing, the pain eased just a little. We decided to continue the walking formula. It was foggy and somewhat cool so we walked down the road in the campground. The more we walked the better. When we arrived yesterday it started raining so we didn't get the sewer set up. I was prepared to be instructed on the sewer but Bruce felt he could do it so I only helped. I did learn his system.
Sites along our walk. This is a beautiful campground.
It is now only about 8:30 so we decided to get some Micky Ds breakfast and then drive around to see the lay of the land. This was working very well. We made sure to stop often and walk around.
We stopped at a Thrift Store then we found a very old church, Buffalo Church, with an old graveyard. There were several Revolutionary Veterans buried here.
We hit Big Lots and Ollies. Unfortunately, I bent down to look at a lower shelf at the thrift store and my back was no longer happy. What is going on here? After Ollies I was done. We went back to the RV and took it easy for an hour. Decided to go to the pool. Maybe some weightless activity might be good. It was. We both improved after that. Just took it easy the rest of the day. Let's hope tomorrow continues to be a back improvement day.
