Getting into Vacation Mode

 Wednesday, July 21, 2021

A much better start today.  My backache is just about gone and Bruce was able to get up this morning.  He is not out of the woods yet but much improved.  We did another early morning walk.  After our walk, we moved the picnic table and unloaded the Treager.  Our next goal was a trip to the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau. There we met a lovely lady named Sue.  She supplied us with a wealth of ideas and brochures of things to do in the area.  Our first stop was the Lewisburg Farmers Market that is held every Wednesday.  There was meat and vegetables galore.  Next week we will be prepared with ice, a cooler, and space in our refrigerator.  Our next stop was the Shikellamy State Park.  There are two Scenic Overlooks on one side of the river, and a marina and walking path on the other side of the river.

Storage of PA Rowers shells and equipment.

Bruce was able to help out a stranded driver in the parking lot by giving her a jump start. We finished our walk here and then went to find a car charger for the new phones we just got last week.  I must have left the one I purchased at home so we now need to get another one.  A stop at Wendy's for some iced coffee and home to the RV.  Hoped to get to the pool again but Mother Nature had other ideas.  A thunderstorm.  That's OK.  I have a lot of reading and planning to do.
