Traveling East of Corry

Wednesday, May 30, 2018

Today we decided to visit the Kinzua Dam in the Allegheny National Forest area.  On our way, we stopped at a Pennsylvania Visitor's Center in Warren.

Baby Arch.  Eighty percent of the St. Louis Arch was built in Warren, PA.

Driving through Warren we saw a riverside park and decided to get a little exercise.  This section of the park was called Heritage Point.  The four flags represent the sovereignty over this land by the Seneca Nation, French, British and finally the United States.

This was a pleasant walk that ran along the river on one side and the local hospital on the other side.

Hospital helicopter pad.

On to Kinzua Dam.

Another old oil pumping station.
