A Baby Bison, VooDoo and Hot Air Baloons

↖Thursday, June 14, 2018

On our way to Meadville, we stopped at the Wooden Nickle Buffalo Farm.  It was not open, but we were able to see some of the herd.  Luckily, we got to see a young buffalo.

Next, we stopped in at Voodoo Brewery for a cold one.  Sitting next to us was a union lineman who was working in the area. He and Bruce had a nice conversation.  Bruce had to buy a VooDoo t-shirt.  This bar had a really interesting ceiling.  It was made of old doors.  And their taps were in an old Kelvinator Refrigerator.

See the stacks of old books on the window sill, that is how you received your check.

We couldn't stay long, because the reason for coming to Meadville was to see an illumination of hot air balloons.  This was the first day of the Thurston Classic Hot Air Baloon Event.
