Hell, Michigan is a dot on the side of the road. There is a biker bar, a gift shop, and a restaurant. When we drove by on July 4, we literally missed it. But I really wanted to go back so we decided to have lunch there. What a hoot. Had great burgers, cheap beer and then we walked around the grounds. There were tons of people there and I am sure when they have a special event it is "hot."
One of the two theories for the name is that the founder of the town, George Reeves, was asked what he thought the town he helped settle should be named. He replied, "I don't care. You can call name it hell for all I care."
