Travel day. We were supposed to spend tonight at an ostrich farm in North Carolina. We were very excited, the reviews were great and we were hoping to buy some meat. Bruce called ahead several days earlier and we were all set. Well, we found the Misty Morning Ranch, at least the address we had, and it appeared to be a house, several outbuildings, but no people and we didn't see an ostrich one. Maybe they were behind the house in the pasture, but we didn't see anyway to park our rig. Bruce knocked on the door and other than some barking dogs, nothing. Sat in a lot in front of an abandoned building for about 45 minutes working on plan B and C. Ended up at a Walmart in Laurinburg. Got a good night's sleep and moved on.
