Clopper Lake

The weather in February has been so nice this year.  We decided to go the Seneca Creek State Park and hike around Clopper Lake.

But first, we were looking at some old ruins of a farm that occupied the park and a restored log cabin. While we were looking through the windows a ranger offered to open the cabin so we could tour the cabin.

After the cabin we hiked the lake loop trail.  It is 5.6 miles around the lake.  It was a good day.

The beavers have been busy.

This was one hungry woodpecker.
