A Day of Covered Bridges Ending With a Few Cold Ones

This area of Pennsylvania is well known for it's covered bridges.  We set out to see how many we could find.




Aline/Meiserville Bridge, 60' Burr Truss, built in 1884.

Curry's Corner/North Oriental Bridge, 69' King Truss


Bruce had to cross the ford with the Chevy.

Meiser's Mill/Sheaffer Bridge, 90' burr truss, built in 1907.
On private property, had to look from a distance.

Hayes Bridge, 70' king truss, built in 1827.

Klinepeter Bridge, 105' burr truss, built in 1871.

Dreese Bridge, 103' burr truss, built in 1870.

Red/Millont bridge, 154' burr truss, built in 1855.

Hassenplug Bridge, 71' burr truss, built in 1882.

Ended our day at the Jackass Brewery.
