Well, today it is back to George Washington to get the results of the big brain scan. We decided to save the $24 parking fee and take the Metro. That includes about 1 mile of walking but we need that. Plus, an added benefit is we got our old fart Senior SmartTrip Metro card.
All went pretty well, don't think I am going to keel over any time soon, but the Doctor did see a few things he didn't like so I will be seeing a Neurologist in January. As far as the now infamous mass, the doctor was meeting with the Radiologist the next day and asked me for my old scans, which they had copied earlier, so I didn't bring them. Apparently, something happened to some of the copies so, in my best interest, we decided to go home and get them. After our second trip via Metro to GW, we decided to stop at Union Station for lunch and to look around.
I also had a yoga class that evening, so I had over 16,000 steps by the end of the day.
Quick note: Received a call from the Doctor's office on 10/2. They think the mass is bone marrow.
