Visited Leesylvania State Park today. They had a quilt exhibit called "The Secret Story of Quilts." The Underground Railroad helped countless slaves escape bondage. There was a secret language that could be seen in certain quilt patterns. Below are a few of those patterns:
After seeing the exhibit we strolled around the park. It looks like a place we may come visit again when the weather is a little nicer.
