No Grass Growing Under Our Feet, Off to Vegas

Off to Los Vegas with our friends for a short trip.  Stayed at Circus Circus as usual.  Only here for a few days but got our 3-card poker in, breakfast at the Egg and I, and a visit to the gardens at Bellagio.

We went to Planet Hollywood to see an Elvis Show, All Shook Up.  It was a fun show but Mary particularly enjoyed it.  She got to take home a souvenir.  One of Elvis' scarves.  We even got some cool pictures after the show.

Off to Sammamish, WA for the Holidays

Thursday, December 20, 2018 - January 3, 2019

We flew out to Erich's for the Holidays this year.  It was so good to spend time with Erich, Yogini and especially Jayan and Deven.  Washington State is so far away.  We had so much fun. We baked cookies.  The boys and I built a gingerbread house.

They really surprised us with a trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express on Christmas Eve.  Our inner children really came out for this trip.  We watched the movie Sunday evening and that really made the trip so special.  Never having watched it before we were totally prepared for the train trip.  I just couldn't believe how spot on the whole evening was.  What a fun time.  We even got Christmas pajamas to wear on the train.

Back home, now it is milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph.

Christmas Day was busy.  After opening presents, the boys got to play in their jump house and had to try out every gift.  We all worked on Christmas dinner and just had a fun day.

We spent the days visiting, went to breakfast, went to a movie, Ralph Wrecks the Internet, watched movies and listen to music.  Even had a family dance party.  What a nice time.
