Two Parks

When one park isn't enough you go to two.

Water Fun

It has been so hot here, but there is nothing like a little water play.

Had to be short lived though, the mosquitoes were just too bad.

Great Falls National Park

Today we went to Great Falls National Park.  We were just in time to get to ride the Canal Boat.  The boat actually goes through one of the locks to go upstream and again to go downstream.

We had some lunch on the porch of the tavern and then went on the trail to the falls.

Trolley Museum

Yoginia is at her new job in Seattle and Erich has joined her to househunt.  We have Jayan and Deven staying with us.  Now, to keep them busy.  How about a trip to the National Capital Trolley Museum.

We even had story time.

Happy Birthday America

Hit the ground running.  We got back Sunday afternoon after a month of travel.  Having the family over for the 4th of July.  Happy and sad.  Erich, Yogini, Jayan and Deven will be moving to Seattle next month so these family get-togethers will not be the same.  But we have this one.

Food, cool Hot Tub, fireworks.  Happy 4th.

Home Sweet Home

Back to Maryland.

Hopefully we will be back on the road in late September/early October.
