Shakedown.

May 25 - 30.  Yeah!  We our getting the coach out for the first time this year.  Going to Wilderness to dewinterize the coach and us.

Once we were set up and had everything ready for a new season, we just drove around the area and explored.  One day we were on the Civil War trail.

Another day we were searching for the oddities of Roadside America.

The store where we found the cows had the best dark chocolate ice cream.  We will be visiting these cows again.

Another day we hung around the campground and rented a paddle boat on the little lake.

One day we went to the farmer's market and ate fresh made mini donuts.

Chris and Candice and friends were staying at a house down on Lake Anna.  We popped around one afternoon to visit.  Another day we were driving around and discovered Copper Fox Distillery and Pen Druid Brewery.

Made us drinks at the distillery.

Our view from the back deck.

Now home to start planning where we are going next.

Jonah

Another fun trip with the IBEW Retired Members Club to Lancaster, PA.  We went to the Sight and Sound Theater to see Jonah.  This theater is an increadible experience.  It is huge and the sets are unbelievable.  The cast is wonderful and they also have live animals as part of the cast.

Afterwards we had lunch at the Good and Plenty.  It is not named that for nothing.  Wonderful Amish cooking and plenty of it.

Poker Run

This was our fourth year volunteering to work at the IBEW Poker Run.  This is a fund raiser that the Motorcycle Club holds each year for SpecialLove for children with cancer.  We look forward to helping with this project every year.

Night out in Takoma Park

A member of our water exercise class is a stand up bass player in a bank called The Smokin' Polecats.  He had a gig at The Republic and he invited us to come and see his show.  We really enjoyed the music.
